Performance Academy is Music School based in Blairgowrie, Randburg, Northern Johannesburg.

Our school was founded in 2011 thanks to Founder - Music Retail Pioneer Yuri Serfontein, and Music Enthusiast - Teacher and Performer Marissa Vermaak.

Music is our passion and we love to share it with our community and beyond.

We offer Private one-on-one Music lessons to anybody interested in either starting from scratch or trying to take their performing to the next level.

​

Our team are all a lovely bunch of qualified Music Tutors and Professional working Musicians, and they revel in bringing their Students each lesson closer to their musical dreams and goals.

Providing tuition based on British and Russian music school systems, individual approach, years of teaching and performing experience and comfortable environment - our tutors support proper learning process, that meets needs and goals of every student.

We offer variety of lessons in our studios and online, available for:

- Voice and Vocals,

- Piano and Keyboard,

- Guitar and Bass Guitar,

- Violin, Fiddle and Viola,

- Music Theory,

- Drums (off-site).

Performance Academy takes a lot of pride in also presenting willing candidates to ABRSM, Rockschool and Trinity College London for annual Graded Practical and written examinations. We don't just Rock and Roll whole day...some serious Academic potential can be reached if you team up with one of our Tutors to guide you on your own, or your Child's journey.
